Book Obsessed

Ok, my husband and kids just roll their eyes when they see me get excited about a new box of books delivered to the house! I tell them I have no money to leave them, but I am building a library for them!!!

Next time they complain….I’m going to show them this video! I don’t have anything compared to this!

homeschool advocacy groups

Dana has a great post regarding what is going on in California and gives some links to advocacy groups like HSLDA. My family has not ever participated in HSLDA or any other group. We will be prayerfully considering our participation in the very near future!

homeschooling becoming illegal?

If liberal judges continue to write and interpret law the way they want…homeschooling could easily become illegal in this nation!

News is traveling through all the homeschool loops I’m on, but just in case you haven’t heard a California court has made a very grievous decision regarding a homeschool family. You can read about it at World News Daily and the California Catholic Daily as well as read the actual text from the court here.

This could have implications in our entire nation not to mention all those homeschooling now in California. We all need to be praying about this situation and look for ways to get involved. Of course, I would say that you better get out and vote this November! If I find other ways to get involved in this issue I will pass them on!
